Whey Protein: What you need to know
The most studied supplement in the fitness industry, but why? First, we need to understand the 3 different types of Whey:
After growing up as an athlete my whole life and working in the Fitness industry as a competitor, a trainer, and team leader (in more ways than one) for over a decade; I have noticed a need for a no-bullshit approach to educate in the Fitness world.
As a person who has strived to lead by example his whole career, I feel an obligation to mix my other passion for writing with my passion for helping others.
I'm here for you; as a teacher, a coach, or maybe just another gym bro. I supply weekly blogs, recourses for workouts and nutrition, and even workout programs I've designed.
Don't hesitate to say hi and ask me for anything you need.
To our goals!

There are many things we can do to guarantee fat loss, but I've included the 5 most important 'laws' to measure first. If you've "tried everything and nothing works" chances are, 1 or more of these must-do's weren't being done.

A few months ago, I overheard some gym goers being lectured by your typical gym dad. (Early 60s, with "decades" of gym experience and all the knowledge of course.) We'll call him Gilbert. So, Gilbert's talking to the younger generation about his shoulder and back issues. This was all in good conversation until he tops it all off with, "Never lift heavy, guys. That's how you get hurt."
Growing up with a wrestling and football coach for a father, it was hard not to get into sports, myself. Dipping my toe into everything school and summer programs had to offer, including baseball, soccer, football, and track, I fell most in love with wrestling (no surprise of course) and swim team. This was up until high school, when both sports were held during the same season, and I chose to focus on a wrestling career instead.
Believe it or not, I actually didn't enjoy strength training through high school sports. I would much rather have been practicing the sport I was passionate about (or sleeping in). That is until I started reaping the benefits, you know as well as I do: increase in strength and energy which lead to more confidence, more athleticism, and of course, more dates.
Having a creative mind, I had thought I wanted to go to college for graphic design, but my passion for lifting overshadowed my major, especially when I found myself skipping classes just to get a lift in. So, I changed my major to Fitness and Sports Management.
Then in 2015 I earned my first certification through ISSA for Personal Training and continued to study Strength and Conditioning, NASM CEC's, and others such as Functional Programming and Nutrition.
After being a full-time trainer for several gyms across 7 years, I took a leap into management. I have now been hiring and developing a team of trainers for 3 years and continue to train clients myself. I love it.
Believe me when I say, after meeting with thousands of people and helping hundreds of clients across 10 years, one thing has held true, even for my own goals and programming: Sport Science is forever changing, and therefore, your programming can forever be improved.
This is why I am here; to educate, further explain, debunk, and occasional rant about, well, whatever I deem worthy for your benefit.
